Botanical Name: Raphanus sativus

Vivid purple radish for microgreens and/or sprouting. Attractive as a garnish item complementing gourmet salads, hors d’oeuvres, fish and meat dishes with its spicy taste. Exceptionally high in vitamins and minerals, its purple hue is also an antioxidant with anti cancer properties.

Sprout like a normal radish in 5 days or grow for a few days longer to obtain a bigger,more attractive purple cotyledon leaf. However, second and third leaves will appear green if left unharvested.
